The ejector pins DIN 1530 shape AWS (DIN/ISO 6751) are produced from alloy tool steel with material no. 1.2210, 1.2516 or similar, and have a shank hardness of 60 ±2 HRc as well as a toolhead hardness of approx. 45 ± 5 HRc.
Alternative designs:
Shape A – produced from a nitritable, hot working steel with material no. 1.2343 or similar. The shank surface has a hardness of approx. 70 HRc, the shank core and the toolhead have a hardness of approx. 45 ± 5 HRc. The core tensile strength is approx. 1,400 – 1,500 N/mm². Shape AWS from HSS – produced from high performance high speed steel with material no. 1.3343 or similar. the shank hardness is 60 ±2 HRc, the toolhead hardness is at approx. 52 ± 3 HRc. We would be delighted to provide you with the dimensions and lengths available for shipment upon request.
The shank is precision ground (tolerance g6), the toolhead is tempered and annealed.
